Does your UAE business really need an Arabic website?

It’s tempting to launch in English only — it’s faster and cheaper. But in the UAE, an English-only site speaks to part of your market and ignores a large, high-intent Arabic-speaking audience that often prefers to read, trust, and buy in Arabic.

Who you lose with English only

Government and semi-government tenders often expect Arabic. Older and more traditional decision-makers read Arabic first. And a huge share of local search happens in Arabic — if your site has no Arabic content, you simply don’t appear for those searches.

For legal, medical, government-facing, real-estate, and retail businesses especially, Arabic isn’t a nice-to-have; it’s where a real part of the revenue is.

Why a translation plugin backfires

Auto-translate plugins produce stiff, often wrong Arabic, break right-to-left layouts, and create messy URLs that confuse Google. Visitors notice instantly — and clumsy Arabic damages trust faster than no Arabic at all.

Real bilingual sites have their Arabic written by people, laid out properly right-to-left, and given their own clean, indexable pages with correct hreflang signals so each language ranks on its own.
